Pune: SANY India has introduced India’s first locally manufactured hybrid 100-ton mining dump truck, the SKT130S. The vehicle was launched at SANY’s Pune facility, marking a significant step towards advancing self-reliance in next-generation mining machinery with cutting-edge technology.
The SKT130S is engineered to deliver exceptional power, efficiency, and safety in mining operations. It is equipped with a high-performance 925 kW engine, generating 3,200 Nm of torque, ensuring superior performance in challenging mining environments.

Heaped Body Capacity: 61 CuM
Fuel Efficiency: 20%-25% fuel savings compared to conventional mining dump trucks
Hybrid System: Diesel-electric with regenerative braking to charge the high-voltage battery during downhill operation
Safety Compliance: FOPS/ROPS-certified cabin, meeting global safety standards

The SKT130S is built with an intelligent control module, ensuring seamless operations. It features a 10-inch central control screen that enhances navigation and safety for operators.
With its diesel-electric hybrid system, the truck is designed to optimize fuel consumption and reduce emissions, contributing to sustainability in mining operations. The regenerative braking system is a key feature, allowing the truck to harness energy during downhill movement, improving overall efficiency.
SANY India has localized the manufacturing of the SKT130S and is actively working towards further localizing major components to strengthen India’s mining industry.
