Pune: A team of four students from G.H. Raisoni Skill Tech University has emerged victorious at the Techathon 2.0, a national-level innovation challenge organized by All India Shri Shivaji Memorial Society's (AISSMS) College of Engineering, Pune.

The students Arjun Sharma, Devansh Singh, Arpit Maurya, and Aarush Singh secured the prestigious Late Ratan Tata Innovation Minds Award for their groundbreaking project on enhancing emergency response systems for traffic safety on metro city highways.

ICAI Pune Branch Wins Best Branch and Best Student Branch Awards

Competition Highlights:

  • 1,300 students and 320 teams participated in the event.

  • 1,000 new ideas were registered, out of which 320 projects made it to the final round.

The Raisoni team’s project was recognized as the most innovative solution, earning them a cash prize of ₹25,000.

The students competed against some of India’s top engineering institutions, showcasing their technical expertise and problem-solving skills under the expert mentorship of Mr. Amit Kumar, head of the Drone Development Club at G.H. Raisoni Skill Tech University.

Vice-Chancellor Dr. M.U. Kharat stated, "Winning the Ratan Tata Innovation Minds Award is a testament to our students' exceptional creativity and technical acumen. This honor highlights the commitment of G.H. Raisoni Skill Tech University in fostering innovation, providing industry-driven education, and preparing students to tackle global challenges."
