To ensure smoother movement, each mandal will be allowed only one or two drum teams. Food vendors, who usually occupy the main road, will be asked to shift their stalls to internal lanes. Authorities aim to reduce procession time, mandals starting from Jedhe Chowk should finish within five hours, and those from Puram Chowk within four hours. A total of 206 mandals will join the immersion procession from these two starting points.

Large crowds often cause long halts at Jedhe and Puram chowks. To speed up the flow, drum beating and loudspeaker use will be banned at these locations. Police have appealed to mandal volunteers to cooperate so that the immersion can end on time without unnecessary congestion.
