
Pune, 2nd December 2024: Sancheti Hospital organized a bike rally on Sunday to raise awareness about road safety, emphasizing the importance of following traffic rules to prevent accidents.
The rally, which began at Sancheti Hospital and concluded at Pawana Lake, was flagged off by Assistant Police Inspector Sachin Kharat from the Pune Traffic Division.
Prominent participants included Dr. Parag Sancheti, Chairman and MD of Sancheti Hospital, Rupal Sancheti, Head of Marketing and Digital at Sancheti Hospital, and Dr. Lavneesh Tyagi, Head of the Sancheti Institute for Orthopaedics and Rehabilitation.
Notable bikers such as global solo rider Maral Yazarloo and Bikerni member Urvashi Patole also joined, along with 60 other riders, who collectively pledged to prioritize road safety.
Raising Awareness Through Action
Speaking at the event, Dr. Parag Sancheti emphasized the need for vigilance on the roads. “By following traffic rules, we can significantly reduce accidents, which often result in serious injuries and disabilities,” he stated.
Assistant Police Inspector Sachin Kharat highlighted the importance of collaboration in creating safer roads. "Awareness campaigns like this, led by institutions like Sancheti Hospital, stress the need for helmets, seatbelts, and adherence to traffic regulations. Together, we can make our roads safer,” he said.
Renowned biker Maral Yazarloo urged everyone to prioritize safety, remarking, “Following traffic rules is essential to prevent accidents. Remember, your family and loved ones are waiting for you at home.”
The rally provided an impactful platform to reiterate the importance of road safety while engaging the community in meaningful dialogue and action.
