Pune: The state education department has announced an extension for submitting applications for the scholarship exams for Classes 5 and 8.
The revised deadline for applications without a late fee is now December 7, allowing more students to register for the exams.
The exams, scheduled for February 9, will take place simultaneously across all districts in the state. Initially, schools and students were granted a registration window from October 17 to November 30.
With the extension, students who miss the December 7 deadline will have additional opportunities to apply with varying late fees.
Applicants can submit forms with a late fee from December 8 to December 15. Those requiring more time can apply with an additional late fee from December 16 to December 23.
The final chance to register will be available between December 24 and December 31, subject to a special late fee.
This extension aims to ensure maximum participation, allowing schools and students additional time for the application process.
