Mandhana appealed for privacy, asking fans and the media to allow both families the space to move forward. “I would like to close this matter here and implore all of you to do the same. Earlier wedding plans

The wedding event was initially planned for November 23, 2025, in Sangli, Maharashtra. However, on the morning of the wedding, Mandhana's father, Srinivas Mandhana, experienced intense chest pain and was taken to the hospital, where doctors detected high cardiac enzyme levels and kept him under observation.

Soon after, Palash Muchhal also needed medical attention and was admitted to the hospital, leading families to cancel the event. Due to the unforeseen health issue, the wedding was delayed indefinitely. Mandhana's manager at that time mentioned that the priority should be on her father's recovery before considering a new date.
