SSC Constable Hiring 2026: Qualification Requirements
Applicants must be aged between 18 and 23 years to qualify. Candidates from SC and ST categories can receive an age relaxation of up to five years, while those from OBC and ex-servicemen categories are eligible for a relaxation of up to three years. An ex-serviceman refers to an individual who has served in any capacity, whether in a combat or non-combat role, within the Regular Army, Navy, or Air Force of the Indian Union, under specified conditions.
Candidates are required to have completed Class 10 from an accredited board or university, and individuals possessing NCC certificates will be eligible for incentives of up to 5 percent.
