
The Pune Fire Brigade successfully saved a truck driver after his vehicle plunged approximately 200 feet into a valley near Katraj Ghat. The incident occurred late Thursday evening, prompting an immediate response from emergency services.
According to officials, the driver was trapped inside the overturned truck cabin when the fire brigade team arrived at the scene. Using specialized equipment, the rescuers carefully extracted the driver and provided urgent medical assistance. Thankfully, the driver survived the ordeal and was rushed to a nearby hospital for further treatment.
The Katraj Fire Brigade, known for handling numerous emergencies in the region, acted swiftly to prevent any further casualties. This rescue adds to their record of over 860 fire and accident interventions in the area over recent years.
