White House physician Sean Conley said on Monday that US President Donald Trump has tested negative for the novel coronavirus, 12 days after he had tested Covid-19 positive.
Trump has tested negative ‘on consecutive days’ and is "not infectious to others", according to a memo from Conley, Xinhua news agency reported. "It is important to note that this test was not used in isolation for the determination of the president's current negative status," Conley said. The doctor, who does not specify the days on which the tests were performed, still added that the data allowed the medical team to settle "that the president is not infectious to others."
Donald Trump took stage again Monday in Florida, declaring that he is in ‘great shape’ with 22 days to go until he faces Joe Biden in the upcoming polls.
AFP quoted him as saying, "I went through it and now they say I'm immune," Trump told a cheering crowd in Sanford, near Orlando, few of whom wore masks. I feel so powerful. I'll walk in there, I'll kiss everyone in that audience. I'll kiss the guys and the beautiful women, just give you a big fat kiss."
