2 new corona cases in Pune

PUNE: Four new patients tested positive on Friday for Coronavirus Disease in Maharashtra taking the total to 52, still the highest number of cases in the country.  On March 15, 91 Indians tested positive and on Friday, the number has increased to 191. 

With an increase of over 100 cases, Gujarat, West Bengal, Uttarakhand, Odisha and others have also reported positive cases till Friday as per Ministry of Health and family Welfare.

The four patients who died until Friday were all above 64 years of age, added Ministry of Health and family Welfare (MOHFW). 

NEW CASES IN MAHARASHTRA
Out of the four new cases reported in the State, one person tested positive from Pune and Pune and Pimpri-Chinchwad Municipal Corporation (PCMC) each on Friday. And two were from Mumbai.

From Pune, a 20-year-old tested positive with a travel history to Scotland. 

And in PCMC, a 24-year-old was tested positive who was a close contact to another patient who had recently visited Singapore. 

On Friday, a 38-year-old with a travel history to Turkey and a 62-year-old with a travel history to United Kingdom tested positive in Mumbai.

Out of 51 patients admitted in the State, 41 patients have no symptoms and other eight have mild symptoms. 

Two patients admitted at Kasturba Hospital in Mumbai are in serious condition.
