
PUNE: The Pune district administration has announced to start as many as 321 Maha e-seva centres in Pune district to broaden the services provided by the government such as issuing of income certificate, ration card, domicile certificate and affidavits among others at affordable costs.
There has already been 430 Maha e-seva centres in the district serving the citizens. Maha e-seva centres official, Manoj Jadhav, said, “There has been huge rush at the existing Maha e- seva centres in the district, due to which we came to know that several people do not get their work done on time.”
“Therefore, we have decided to start more such centres in different part of the district,” said Jadhav. He further said, “After set-up of these new centres there will be less rush at the existing centres and people will get services within four kilometers in their nearest areas.”
“Due to the setting up of new 321 centres there will be total 751 Maha e-seva centres in the district and in each area people will addition of one more centre in the area,” said Jadhav.
