Pune, 13 June 2025: In a daring daylight heist, two unidentified armed youths robbed a private company employee of gold ornaments worth ₹69.70 lakh near Pune Railway Station around 9:15 am on Wednesday (June 11). The victim, an employee of Ambe Express Logistics Company, had traveled from Mumbai to deliver eight parcels containing gold to the firm’s Pune branch when he was accosted at gunpoint.

Police investigations revealed that the parcels had been dispatched by Kothari and Kothari Company’s Mumbai office for delivery to Pune. After arriving by train, the employee was followed by the robbers who attacked him just outside the station premises.
Senior Inspector Ravindra Gaikwad of Bund Garden Police Station said, “CCTV footage shows two suspects with covered faces in the vicinity. We have formed teams to track them down and arrests will be made soon.”
