Pune: Minister of Finance, Planning and Forests Department Sudhir Mungantiwar, on Thursday, said that BJP is following the Constitution of India and it is the Congress and JD(S), which needs to be worried.
Mungantiwar was speaking on Karnataka elections and the move of Karnataka Governor V Vala to invite BS Yeddyurappa to form the government.
“The decision taken by the Governor is as per the Constitution of India and the BJP government will prove its majority. Congress has no right to speak on the issue,” added Mungantiwar.
Speaking on BJP-Shiv Sena alliance, the minister said that if Shiv Sena comes with BJP, it will be welcomed or else BJP will go solo in the upcoming assembly elections.
“It is up to Shiv Sena to take the decision,” added Mungantiwar.
Speaking on the planned massive recruitments in various government departments of the State, the minister said that the State government’s revenue this year increased by Rs 20,000 crore due to taxation and other policies.
“This increased revenue will help in recruiting more manpower in government departments for running the State in a better way. More force will be recruited in agriculture sector for reforms in the sector,” added Mungantiwar.
