PUNE: As the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has decided to increase the number of evaluation centres and to appoint more functionaries to ensure timely and accurate evaluation, it has appealed to the schools to update the correct details of its principals and teachers on ‘OASIS,’ the single window solution of the Board for many activities.
The schools need to update the accurate information on OASIS latest by November 30.
The circular released by the CBSE for the same states that the Board is making preparation for timely and error-free evaluation. For this, CBSE would be requiring correct details of Principal/ Vice-Principal/ Head Master/ Head Mistress/ PGT/ TGT. The schools have already submitted most of the data on OASIS. However, to ensure that the data is correct, schools ought to once again check and update this data.
The circular instructs the schools on how to go about the process. “Delete the name of teachers who are not on rolls of the school, add names of teachers who are on the rolls of the school, update the subject being taught by each teacher, and the number of years of teaching experience at the given post,” the circular states.
Since last year, the Board has been seeking help of teachers from the affiliated schools for evaluation work to ensure a qualitative and error-free process.
