COVID-19 Pune: Ten thousand patients in the city under home isolation

Pune: As many as ten thousand COVID-19 patients under the jurisdiction of the Pune Municipal Corporation PMC  prefer home isolation. However, expert doctors are urging patients not to take the option of home quarantine without registering with the health system if they are diagnosed with COVID-19.

As many as 17,044 crore patients in Pune district are undergoing treatment for COVID-19 under home isolation. Of these, 10,702 patients are from Pune city and 3013 patients are from Pimpri-Chinchwad Municipal Corporation area. The remaining 3329 patients are from Pune district. Homoeopathy is usually allowed for patients with mild or mild symptoms, as well as having a separate room and toilet at home.
However, the doctor advises the patient to register at the local health system so that the patient does not have any difficulty in getting a bed in the hospital, later if required.

Patients who have undergone home isolation are obliged to take care that they do not infect others under any circumstances. For this, it is mandatory to check the body temperature as well as the level of oxygen in the blood with the help of pulse oximeter and thermometer at intervals of a few hours in a day and inform the doctor about it.

It is also important to have a healthy person at home to take care of the patient's health so that it is possible to inform the doctor about the fluctuations in the patient's condition. Patients with home use as well as instructions for the isolation of rooms and toilets have also been instructed to allow home segregation.
