For the first time ever, the ceremonial parade was held outside Delhi, underscoring Pune’s long-standing military legacy and its strategic importance in India’s armed forces ecosystem.

Led by artists like Dada Rane Konaskar, the performances recreated the ambience of Konkan villages, introducing city audiences to traditional masks, music, dance, and devotional storytelling rooted in moral and cultural values.
The Bajaj Pune Marathon 2025 marked a landmark moment as the city hosted its first-ever full 42.2 km marathon. Elevating the event’s global stature, Olympic icons Noah Lyles and Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce served as race ambassadors, reinforcing Pune’s emergence as a major destination for international sporting events.
