Pune: A 20-year-old youth was attacked by a group of four men with sharp weapons on Wednesday night in Bibvewadi.
The unidentified accused led the murderous attack inflicting severe injuries on Saurabh Kachre, a resident of Lower Indira Nagar in Bibvewadi and fled from the spot.
According to the Bibvewadi police, the four accused entered the KK Market Road near Kumbhar Vasti at around 10.45 pm and attacked Kachre with choppers and sticks. The police are trying to locate the unidentified assailants and have booked them for charges under attempt to murder.
