Pune: Are you a MSME in need of credit? If yes, here's an opportunity to avail finance and government schemes at your doorstep.

To support and strengthen the MSMEs, the Mahratta Chamber of Commerce, Industries and Agriculture (MCCIA) along with Ministry of MSME and GIZ - German Development Corporation (Deutsche Gesellschaft fuer Internationale Zusammenarbeit GmbH) have jointly organised the second edition (online event) on Finance for MSMEs from January 14 to 16, 2021 from 3 pm to 5 pm.

Participants can join the program with prior registration. Click and register on https://bit.ly/3seDXYK

This event will serve as a single destination for availing all types of MSME products offered by multiple banks. This would be a great opportunity for existing and start-up enterprises to meet potential creditors during the event. Officials from the Ministry of MSME will emphasise on the current schemes designed especially for the MSMEs. Below are the event highlights:

• Government Initiatives and Policies - Ministry of MSMEs

• Finance options provided by Public and Private Sector Banks

• Establish direct connect with Banks through MCCIA

MCCIA President Sudhir Mehta spoke about the importance of credit. He said, "More than 85 per cent of credit is informal which affects cost structures and hence competitiveness of MSMEs. Even those who get credit, may not get it at the best possible terms. This initiative of MCCIA with our partner organisations is to support MSMEs in need of credit by helping them network with financial institutes who can provide the credit."

MCCIA has been playing a significant role in accelerating the industrial and economic development of the Pune region for more than eight decades now. It has 3000 plus Members from a cross section of Business and Industries. It has been responsive to changing times, needs and requirements of the best manufacturing practices of the Pune Region. The Chamber has also made timely interventions on behalf of the industry and supported business and corporates.
