A shocking road accident was reported from the Khadakwasla area in Pune, where a speeding car caused a major crash, leaving a four-year-old boy dead and several others injured.

According to reports, the high-speed vehicle first rammed into six parked two-wheelers and an autorickshaw before crashing directly into a roadside shop. The impact claimed the life of 4-year-old Yashraj Nilesh Kamble and left 3 to 4 others seriously injured. A disturbing CCTV video of the incident has since surfaced, causing widespread shock in the area.

The accident took place on Saturday around 5:30 pm in Khadakwasla village. The deceased child, Yashraj Nilesh Kamble (4), was a resident of Abhinav College Road, Narhe in Pune. He was rushed to a hospital on Sinhagad Road in critical condition but succumbed to his injuries around 6:40 pm during treatment.

Eyewitnesses reported that the car was travelling at a very high speed when the driver lost control. The vehicle first hit multiple parked two-wheelers and an autorickshaw along the roadside before veering into a shop. CCTV footage also shows two children narrowly escaping the accident as they stepped out of the shop moments before the crash.

Panic spread in the area following the incident, with locals rushing to help the injured before police arrived and brought the situation under control. Police have detained the car driver, Amol Gorakhnath Gegade (32), and his associate Prakash Tatyaram Kothare (32). Both have been sent to Sassoon Hospital for medical examination, while further investigation is underway to determine the exact cause of the accident.

The incident has triggered anger and grief among residents, who are demanding strict action against reckless driving. The CCTV footage is widely circulating on social media, highlighting the severity of the crash.
