Pune: Zeal Education Society organised a two-day workshop on NBA accreditation on Monday and Tuesday at JW Marriott, Senapati Bapat Road.
The Quacquarelli Symonds ranking lists the top 200 universities in the world. While the universities in the United States dominate the overall rankings, only three Indian universities have made it to the top 200.
Zeal has taken up the initiative in organising NBA accreditation workshop, as NBA relates to outcome-based education, which is a student-centric institution that focuses on measuring student performances.
The participants of this workshop got insights on concepts like Washington Accord, accreditations for quality education, methodologies of ABET, e-SAR and accreditation process, rubric development and evaluation pattern, pedagogy methodologies like Bloom’s Taxonomy and many more, through experts like Arun Nigavekar, former Vice-Chancellor, Pune University, DN Reddy, Director, Chairman of NBA, Mallikharjuna Babu, Principal of BMS College of Engineering, Bengaluru, SC Sahasrabudhe, Member of Academic Advisory Committee NBA Committee, Ashutosh Marathe, Dean Quality Assurance, VIT, Pune.
