PUNE: Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has released online applications for ‘Central Sector Scheme for Scholarship for College and university students’ for the year 2018.
The scheme is sponsored by the Department of Higher Education of Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD).
The board has also called for applications of first renewal for the year 2017, second renewal for the year 2016 and third renewal for the year 2015. The application forms are available on National Scholarship Portal (http://scholarship.gov.in).
Students can visit the mentioned website to apply for fresh scholarship and renewal of scholarship. The last date for submission of online application form for renewal and for fresh scholarship 2018 is October 31.
The board has advised all candidates to apply online within stipulated time and get their online applications verified by the institutions. It has suggested that it is required to show the original documents to the institute otherwise the application would be treated as invalid.
