Speaking about this song, Viraj said, "As a singer, I have been singing songs, written and composed by many people till date, but I always wanted to have a song of my own. Accordingly, I started working on the song 'Varad Vinayak He' during the lockdown period, which was composed by my father. Preserving the core of classical music, the song has been composed in such a way that today's young generation will love it. My father wrote the lyrics of the song himself and also composed the music. This is the first time I will be performing for an audience in this way and I am very excited about it. I hope the audience enjoys it,"

Shrinivas Joshi said, "Two or three years ago, a song on Ganpati was requested to be played at a musical program at Shrimanth Dagdusheth Halwai and at that time it was observed that no song of Bharat Ratna Pt. Bhimsen Joshi devoting Lord Ganesha had been performed till then. I composed the song during the previous night of the event and performed it early the next morning for the audience, who enjoyed it. When Viraj told us the idea of his own song, we decided to work on the lead of the song and the song 'Varad Vinayak He' was composed. The song reveres Ganapati, the lord of wisdom and the presiding deity of the intellect."

He added, "I composed music for songs from Bharat Ratna Pt Bhimsen Joshi's albums 'Sukh Anupam' and 'Bhaktabhilasha' in the 80's and 90's and had also teamed up with Gulzar and Amit Khanna to compose music. But later, I only worked on something related to classical music. Composing Viraj's song has given me a chance once again to work in the field of music direction."

According to Shrinivas Joshi, they decided to compose the song professionally and recorded it in the studio with the aim of reaching as many listeners as possible.

"In addition, we have also made a video of the song, which will be made live for the audience on Facebook and YouTube on August 20. The song has been arranged by Sarang Kulkarni and Viraj will be seen performing in the video," Joshi said.
