PUNE: Dr Vikhe Patil Foundation’s Pravara Centre for Management Research and Development (PCMRD) organised ‘PCMRD Fest 2018’ on January 12, which comprised nine events under Management, Cultural and Sports category. 250 students from undergraduate colleges in and around Pune competed for Quiz, Caption Me, Management Dumb Charades, Speed Games, Group Dance, Volleyball, Basketball and Football.
The event was inaugurated by Manoj Narwade, Director, PCMRD. Along with him, event coordinators including Puja Bhardwaj, Vijay Deshmukh, Divya Lakhani, Sneha Joshi and Devkumar Mahisekar were part of inauguration.
The judges for the events were Anupama Deshmukh, hospitality consultant, facilitator and operations specialist; Raghunandan Helwade, Business Associate - BMA Wealth Creators and Vipul Devrani, Choreographer.
Quiz was won by ATSS College, Chinchwad and runners-up were MIT College.
In Caption Me, SP College stood first and Modern College was runners-up. Management Dumb Charades was won by ATSS College, Chinchwad.
Sinhgad College took away the first rank for Speed Games, while SP College ranked second. The winners of Group Dance was MIT College while the runners-up was JSPM College.
In the sports category, students from Mamasaheb Mohol College won the volleyball competition and second prize went to Symbiosis College.
Football competition was won by SP College and P Jog College of Science & Commerce got the second rank. In basketball, Ness Wadia College of Commerce was the winner and runner-up was Symbiosis College.
The fest concluded with the prize distribution by Narwade. The fest was co-sponsored by Parag Milk Foods Limited and Acer India (Pvt) Ltd. Technology partner of the fest was Zebronics India Pvt Ltd and Orchid Beauty (Skin and Hair Care).
