PUNE: To support students from the backward socio-economic background, a provision has been made in the Pune Municipal Corporation’s (PMC) Standing Committee Budget 2020-21 to pay the fees of class X and XII Board examinations of the students at civic schools.
Students of class X and XII studying in PMC schools are provided with facilities but not all can afford to pay Board examination fees. The Standing Committee has decided to help these students.
Students in civic schools are provided with educational materials and facilities like uniforms, shoes, raincoats, bus travel and meals. However, the students have to pay for the answer sheets during examinations. As many students were unable to afford them, the PMC has decided to provide the answer sheets.
