The order has been issued under relevant sections of the Motor Vehicles Act, and it also cancels all earlier speed-limit notifications for the stretch. The revised speed limit will be enforced across the bypass from November 25, 2025.

Jadhav urged motorists to stay alert, follow road signs, and keep an eye on their vehicle’s speed. He added that violations will face strict action and monitoring will be handled through CCTV cameras and speed-gun systems.
