Pune Bar Association has strongly condemned the horrific rape and murder case reported in Nasrapur, which has sparked widespread outrage across Pune district. In response to the incident, the association has appealed to all advocates not to accept the accused’s legal representation.
The incident has triggered anger and emotional reactions among members of the legal community. Taking a firm stand against the accused, the executive committee of the Pune Bar Association circulated messages among its members requesting them to refrain from appearing on behalf of the accused in court proceedings.
According to the association, the crime was extremely cruel and resulted in the death of a young girl, making it a deeply disturbing case for society. The association said the accused deserves the harshest possible punishment under the law.
Pune Bar Association stated that the appeal to lawyers is part of a collective stand against the crime and reflects the strong sentiment within the legal fraternity following the incident.
