Pune, 30 July 2025: In a touching moment from Pune, a Class 3 student from Sadhana Primary Vidyamandir in Hadapsar has written a heartfelt letter to NCP leader Sharad Pawar, requesting that his favourite teacher not be transferred. The child, Hamid Suyog Bendre, penned the letter after learning that his teacher, Sharada Davadey, had suddenly been transferred from the school.
The news left the young student in tears, prompting him to ask his parents why she wouldn’t be teaching from the next day. They explained that she had been transferred and suggested he write a letter if he wanted her to return. Taking their advice seriously, Hamid addressed a simple yet emotional appeal to the senior political leader.
In the letter, he wrote, “My name is Hamid Suyog Bendre. I study in Class 3 at Sadhana Primary School, Hadapsar, Pune. My class teacher is Sharada Davadey Tai. I heard that she will not be teaching us from tomorrow as she has been transferred. I felt like crying. My parents said I should request to bring her back.”
He continued, “Tai teaches us very well. She never scolds us. That’s why I want her to stay in our school. I kindly request you not to transfer her.”
The emotional note has since gone viral on social media, touching hearts across the city and beyond. It highlights not just a child’s affection for his teacher but also the deep impact a caring educator can leave on young minds.
