Pune, 4th April 2026: In Aundh, a minor altercation during a public event escalated into violence, leaving four people injured. The incident took place on April 1 at Indira Gandhi Vasahat during a community gathering where music and dancing were underway.
According to the police, the dispute began when the complainant’s father accidentally bumped into one of the accused while dancing. What started as a verbal argument quickly turned aggressive. The accused allegedly assaulted the complainant’s father following the altercation.
When the complainant, Kunal Tujare (22), and his nephew intervened and questioned the accused about the assault, the situation worsened. The group reportedly attacked them as well, resulting in injuries to multiple individuals.
Based on the complaint, police have registered a case against five persons from the same locality. Further investigation into the incident is currently underway.
