Pune-Gorakhpur train diverted from Dec 20

Pune: The Indian Railways will carry out infrastructure upgrade work at Manduadih on Northern Railway from December 20 to January 6 in connection with non-interlocking work of Manduadih yard. Due to this, the Pune-Gorakhpur Express will be diverted on January 3, 2019.

As per the Railways, train number 11037 Pune-Gorakhpur Express leaving from Pune on January 3, 2019, will proceed via Manikpur-Chheoki-Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya Junction instead of Manikpur-Allahabad Junction-Allahabad City-Varanasi-Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya Junction.

Besides this, train number 11061 LTT-Darbhanga Express leaving Lokmanya Tilak Terminus from December 26 to January 5, and will travel on the route of Manikpur-Chheoki-Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya Junction instead of Manikpur-Allahabad Junction-Allahabad City-Varanasi-Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya Junction. Train number 18610 LTT-Ranchi Express leaving Lokmanya Tilak Terminus on January 5 and train number 18609 Ranchi-LTT Express leaving Ranchi on January 2, will go via  Manikpur-Chheoki-Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya Junction instead of Manikpur-Allahabad Junction-Allahabad City-Varanasi-Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya Junction. Railways has requested passengers to note the diversion and bear with the administration for the inconvenience.
