Pune, 15 April 2026: In a major crackdown on drug peddling, Airport Police arrested two individuals involved in selling MD drugs in the Kharadi and Hadapsar areas. The police seized contraband along with a car and a two-wheeler, collectively valued at around ₹27 lakh.
Acting on specific information, the police team laid a trap near Kharadi bypass road leading towards Forest Park. A suspect identified as Pritam Kulkarni (37), a resident of Wadgaonsheri, was caught while allegedly arriving to sell MD drugs.
Upon searching him, officials recovered 3.59 grams of MD powder and a two-wheeler.
During interrogation, Kulkarni revealed the involvement of another accused, Ubaid Khan (27) from Hadapsar. Based on this input, police tracked him down in the Khulewadi area, where he was also taken into custody. Authorities recovered 4 grams of MD powder and a car from him.
The operation was carried out under the guidance of senior police officials, with a dedicated team executing the raid. Further investigation in the case is currently underway.
