Pune, 29 April 2026: In a move to strengthen urban mobility, Pune Metro has partnered with Rapido to introduce auto feeder services for commuters. The initiative is aimed at improving first-and-last mile connectivity, making it easier for passengers to reach metro stations.
The service will initially be launched at Ramwadi Metro Station and will later be expanded in phases to cover all metro stations across the city. Officials believe this will significantly enhance convenience for daily commuters and encourage more people to use public transport.
With this new service, passengers will have better access to metro stations, reducing dependency on private vehicles and improving overall travel efficiency within Pune.
The agreement was signed in the presence of General Manager Captain Dr. Rajendra Saner-Patil and Senior Deputy General Manager Sujit Kanade, along with representatives from Rapido and Pune Metro.
Officials stated that the partnership is a step toward creating a more connected and commuter-friendly transport system in the city.
