Initial investigations suggest that Pawar may have taken the extreme step due to exam-related stress and depression. However, officers said that a clear motive can be confirmed only after speaking to his family members. No suicide note has been recovered from the spot so far.

Police reached the location immediately after receiving a call from the control room. A spot panchnama was conducted, and the body was sent to Sassoon Hospital for post-mortem. Vishrambaug Police have registered a case of accidental death and are conducting further inquiries.
