Pune: Police form five teams to trace missing businessman Gautam Pashankar

Pune: The Pune City Police have formed five teams to trace missing businessman Gautam Pashankar. These teams are checking the Closed Circuit Television (CCTV) footage in all nearby areas and all hotels for finding out the last location of 65-year-old Pashankar. Gautam Pashankar had reportedly handed over an envelope to his driver in which a suicide note was found.

A missing person complaint has been filed at Shivajinagar police station by family members of Pashankar (65) on Wednesday (October 21) evening. Gautam Pashankar is managing director of the renowned Pashankar Group and Pashankar Auto.

Pashankar family has appealed to citizens to inform any whereabouts of Gautam Pashankar on his son Kapil's mobile number 9822474747 or Shivajinagar police station 020-25536263. Shivajinagar police station and other police stations have also been informed about the details of Pashankar. Accordingly, all CCTV footage and hotels are being searched to trace Pashankar.

Gautam Pashankar resides at the Modi Baug area in Shivajinagar. He had gone to his family-owned gas agency in Loni Kalbhor on Wednesday afternoon. He had returned to his office on Jangli Maharaj Road at around 4pm. Gautam Pashankar had then sent his car driver to Panshet for some work. He later went to the LIC office on Ganeshkhind Road from where he has mysteriously disappeared.

Gautam Pashankar's car driver tried to call him on the mobile phone, but Pashankar did not respond. The driver then informed about it to Pashankar's son Kapil. The Pashankar family immediately tried to locate him, but they could not. Hence the family members headed straight to the Shivajinagar police station and lodged a missing person report.
