Pune: Society Committee members distribute 'Seven Mantras Fruit Basket' to families in home-isolation

Pune: Committee members of the Ruturang society in Aranyeshwar area distributed fruit baskets of 'Seven Mantras' to other members in the society who have been advised to stay in isolation at home. The initiative was undertaken by the members to boost the immunity of those who have mild symptoms of COVID-19 and need to recover faster.

Seven Mantras is an initiative of "Daily Agrowon' - a part of the Sakal Media Group - in which a network of progressive farmers in the state provide scientifically grown and harvested produce straight to your kitchen. Based on the farm-to-fork concept, this supply chain ensures that the vegetables and fruits are safe to consume, and with minimal handling by the vendors it reduces the chances of contamination at any point.

'Seven Mantras' has received a huge response from citizens of Pune and Pimpri-Chinchwad cities. Farmers and customers are both benefiting from this initiative. Due to these benefits, society committee members preferred to distribute fruit baskets of Seven Mantras only.

Society President Sunil Kabade, Secretary Sanjay Deshpande, Treasurer Subhash Tekawade and Ashok Deshmukh, other members Sangram Joshi, Rohan Bhosale were present on the occasion. Other societies should emulate this initiative, said office-bearers of the society.
