Pune, 28th September 2026: After a brief break in rainfall over the past few days, Pune and its surrounding areas are likely to receive light showers accompanied by thunderstorms over the next two to three days, according to the India Meteorological Department (IMD).
On Sunday (September 27), the city experienced partly cloudy skies in the morning, followed by increased sunshine and higher temperatures in the afternoon. Cloud cover increased again in the evening. The maximum temperature was recorded at 32°C, while the minimum temperature dropped by around 3°C to 20.3°C.
The IMD has forecast a slight decline in maximum temperatures and a marginal rise in minimum temperatures over the next two to three days. Isolated areas of Pune may experience light rainfall accompanied by thunder and lightning.
On Monday (September 28), partly cloudy skies are expected during the morning, with cloud cover likely to increase in the afternoon and evening. Some parts of the city may receive light showers accompanied by thunderstorms and lightning.
The maximum temperature is expected to remain around 32°C, while the minimum temperature is likely to be approximately 20°C.
