Pune, 20th July 2026: The city has been experiencing light rainfall over the past three days, providing relief from a mid-July dry spell that had caused temperatures to rise. On Sunday, the city received intermittent showers while cloudy skies persisted throughout the day, keeping the weather pleasant.
The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecast that the current weather pattern will continue for the next two days. Residents can expect light drizzle and mostly cloudy skies, with no significant change in temperatures.
On Sunday, Pune recorded a maximum temperature of 29°C, while the minimum temperature settled at 22.6°C, reflecting the cooling effect of the recent rainfall.
According to the forecast, rainfall activity is expected to intensify from July 22. The city is likely to witness more frequent showers along with occasional heavy spells, resulting in a further drop in temperatures.
The IMD expects this pattern of light drizzle interspersed with moderate to heavy showers to continue through the rest of the week, bringing cooler and more comfortable weather conditions across the city.
