Pune Creates New July Rainfall Record

The period between July 1 and July 8 has also become the wettest opening eight days of July in Pune's recorded history, surpassing the previous record set in 2007. The continuous spell of rain over the past week pushed the city's rainfall totals to historic levels.

Weather Forecast for the Week

The IMD has predicted that Pune is likely to receive only light rainfall for the remainder of the week. The city is expected to witness generally cloudy to overcast skies with occasional sunshine breaking through the clouds.
