Ruby Hall Clinic fetes meritorious children of staff

PUNE: Ruby Hall Clinic felicitated the children of its employees with Late Dr KB Grant Meritorious Awards for their outstanding performance in SSC and HSC Board examination.

A special programme was organised at Ruby Hall Clinic, Cancer Centre auditorium to mark the occasion. The Late Dr KB Grant Meritorious Award along with a token of appreciation was presented to 18 children who passed SSC and HSC with more than 80 per cent marks in the year 2018-2019. Along with them, support staff members were also felicitated for re-entering the world of education and successfully completing their graduate degrees under ‘Sarva Shikshya Abhiyan’ through Yashwantrao Chavan Maharashtra Open University (YCMOU).

Bomi Bhote, CEO, Ruby Hall Clinic, Dr Kishor Pujari, Chief Operating Officer (COO), Dr Sanjay Pathare, Medical Director, RK Srivastava, Chief of HR, Lt Col CC Cruze, Director - Nursing Services and Tehmi Grant Institute of Nursing Education (TGINE), Dr Sudheer Rai, COO, RubyHall Clinic, Hinjewadi, were present on the occasion .

Bomi Bhote, CEO, Ruby Hall Clinic, said the main objective behind undertaking this project from the last seven years was to empower the next generation and improve the employee’s job skills, output, satisfaction and bonding. 

“It not only empowers individuals but gives them growth in personal aspirations as well as dignity of life. With the ‘Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan’ scheme, we encourage our support staff members to complete their graduation,” said Bhote.

Dr Kishor Pujari, COO, Ruby Hall Clinic, congratulated the students who were awarded, their parents and the HR management team of the Ruby Hall Clinic for initiating this scheme. He advised the students by saying it is good to be intelligent and score marks but it is also important to be street smart which will make you more capable to navigate through life.

RK Srivastava, Chief of HR, Ruby Hall Clinic, said, “Ruby Hall introduced the late Dr KB Grant Meritorious Award Scheme in 2013 for Employees Children to motivate them to score 80 per cent and above marks in board examination. At the same time, Meritorious Scholarship was launched for pursuing MBBS Course and Basic BSC (BBSC) Nursing Course from TGINE and presently 8 children are receiving the scholarship for MBBS Course and 4 children are receiving the scholarship for BBSC Nursing Course.”

For enhancing education in Support Staff, a Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan Scheme was also launched in 2013. 17 Support Staff have completed their Graduation Course and 10 are pursuing graduation courses.

“By felicitating the children, we also salute their parent’s hard work. We hope the effort their parents put in, inspires them all to achieve greater heights,” said Srivastava.
