SDF invites applications for scholarships

PUNE: Sarojini Damodaran Foundation (SDF) has invited applications for Vidyadhan Scholarship programme for students across the state who have appeared for HSC and SSC examinations.

The scholarship is for economically backward students, belonging to families whose annual income is below Rs 2 lakh.

Maharashtra State Degree Programme 2017 is for students who have completed HSC in 2017 and are studying in degree courses in Pune, Kolhapur, Satara, Sangli and Solapur districts and performing with good marks. The scholarship amount will vary from Rs 10,000 to Rs 60,000 depending on the location, course, duration etc. 

Maharashtra State 11th Grade Programme 2017 is for the students who have completed SSC in Maharashtra board and are studying at higher secondary and junior colleges in Pune, Kolhapur, Satara, Sangli and Solapur districts. The students need to score above 90 per cent (75 per cent for disabled students), and if they continue to do well, they could be given scholarships to pursue degree courses further.
