Pune, 9th February 2026: Savitribai Phule Pune University (SPPU) has announced that the entrance examination for admission to its free UPSC and MPSC coaching programme for the academic year 2025–26 will be held on February 22. The examination will be conducted exclusively in Pune city, the university has clarified.
According to university officials, a total of 1,631 applications have been received from candidates across Maharashtra. “There will be no examination centres outside Pune, and all candidates will have to appear for the test within the city,” officials said.
Admit cards for the examination will be available for download from February 17 onwards on the university’s online portal. “The hall ticket will carry details such as the examination venue, reporting time, duration of the test and important instructions,” the university said.
Candidates facing technical difficulties while downloading their admit cards have been advised to contact the university support team through email. The university has also advised candidates coming from outside Pune to reach the city at least one day before the examination to avoid any last-minute inconvenience.
The free coaching programme offered by the Competitive Examination Centre includes classroom teaching, study material, test series, mentoring and regular evaluations conducted by experienced faculty members.
