Timetable for SSC, HSC exams released

PUNE: It is confirmed that the state board HSC (standard 12) examinations will begin from February 18, 2020 while the SSC (standard 10) will begin from March 3, 2020. The Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (MSBSHSE) has issued the final timetable of Secondary School Certificate (SSC)-Std X and Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC)-Std XII examination to be held in February-March 2020.

The Std XII examination for regular, bifocal and vocational course will begin from February 18 (Tuesday) and will go on till March 18 (Wednesday). The Std X examination with revised syllabus will held between March 3 (Tuesday) and March 23 (Monday).

The state board had published the tentative dates of SSC and HSC timetable on October 15, which was available on their website. The board had kept it open for parents, associations and teachers to give suggestions on the timetable within 15 days.

“After seeking recommendations from everyone, the state board has finalised the timetable of both the examinations,” stated secretary of the board Ashok Bhosale in the circular.

The respective timetables were available on www.mahahsscboard.maharashtra.gov.in. The circular issued by the board has also specified that the timetable uploaded on the website is for information. Secondary schools, higher secondary schools, junior colleges will be given hard copies of the timetable.

The dates of practical exam, grades, oral and other examinations will be informed separately by the board.

INFO ON FILLING FORMS
- The Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (MSBSHSE) has extended the deadline to fill online application forms for students appearing for Higher School Certificate (HSC) examination 2020, till November 25.
- Earlier, the last date to fill application forms was November 15. However, after it was brought to the notice of the board that the students and schools were facing some technical issues while filling online forms, the date was extended for the convenience of students. With late fees, the extended deadline is till November 26.
- While the HSC students of Arts, Science and Commerce have to fill their forms through SARAL database, if they are unable to do so, they will have to fill the forms through ‘All Application’ link on the website.
- The students are applying online on the websites www.mahahsscboard.maharashtra.gov.in  or www.mahahsscboard.in
