According to PMPML officials, the influencer recorded a reel inside a PMPML bus without prior approval and shared it on Instagram. The transport body stated that the video showed improper use of official property, including the PMPML uniform, electronic ticketing machine, and staff badge.

This, officials said, goes against the organisation’s internal policies and has damaged its public image.

PMPML also raised serious concerns about the portrayal of women passengers in the reel. The notice states that the video content was inappropriate and disrespectful, hurting the dignity of women and raising concerns about their safety and rights in public spaces. The organisation added that such content weakens public trust in the city’s bus service.

In the notice, PMPML has directed Atharva Sudame to immediately remove the video from Instagram. He has also been instructed to take written permission from authorised officials before posting any future photos, videos, reels, or content related to PMPML buses or services.
