Yeh Delhi hai mere yaar: Now travel to capital state from Pune as Central Railway resumes services

Pune: Rejoice travellers, the central railway has decided to ply four additional trains from Pune. Out of four trains, two trains will operate to Delhi while one is reserved to Kolkata with remaining one for Bihar.

The Pune-Howrah Duronto Express is bi-weekly where the train will leave Howrah on every Thursday and Saturday from October 15 till further advice and will arrive Pune next day. The train from Pune will leave on every Monday and Saturday from October 17 till further advice and will reach Howrah next day.

Similarly, Pune- Hazrat Nizamuddin AC Express weekly special will leave Hazrat Nizamuddin in Delhi on every Friday from October 16 till further advice and will arrive Pune next day. The special AC express will leave Pune on every Sunday from October 18 till further advice reaching Hazrat Nizamuddin next day.

One more train to reach capital state Pune- Hazrat Nizamuddin Duronto Bi-weekly special will depart from Pune on every Tuesday and Friday from October 16 till further advice and will reach Hazrat Nizamuddin next day. On its return, Duronto will depart from Hazrat Nizamuddin on every Monday and Thursday from October 15 reaching Pune on the next day.

Meanwhile, central railways have advised passengers to adhere to all norms, SOPs related to COVID-19 during the boarding as well as while travelling.

LOCAL TRAINS RESUMED

Local train services in Pune resumed on Monday for Maharashtra government employees and people associated with the private health sector. Ever since the COVID-19-induced lockdown was forced, train operations in the city had halted its operations.

As per the protocols issued, a train will run with a maximum capacity of 700 people in order to maintain social distancing. Also, passengers with a digital pass will be allowed to travel.
