Former Australian cricketer Dean Jones passes away in Mumbai

Former Australian cricket legend and commentator Dean Jones died of a cardiac arrest in Mumbai on Thursday. The 59-year-old was part of Star Sports commentary team for the Indian Premier League (IPL) and was in a bio-secure bubble in a hotel based in Mumbai.

Representing Australia, Dean Jones played 52 Test matches scoring 3,631 runs. With a 216 as his best score, Jones scored 11 tons and was an important player of Allan Border's squad.

Talking about white ball cricket he managed to score 6068 runs at an average of 44.61 with 7 hundreds and 46 fifties.
