In what came as a big blow for Indian cricket team, pacegun Jasprit Bumrah has reportedly been ruled out of the fourth Test against Australia amid abdominal strain.

PTI while confirming the news on its Twitter handle wrote, “India pacer Jasprit Bumrah ruled out of fourth Test against Australia due to abdominal strain: BCCI Sources”. Bumrah who bagged 11 wickets at an average of 29.36 in the three Tests so far will not play the fourth and final Test. India’s pace attack was already winding with injuries to players Umesh Yadav, Mohammed Shami and Ishant Sharma but Bumrah’s injury might just knock Ajinkya Rahane and co.

On the other side, India's injury woes in the Test series against Australia grown after the hero of Sydney Test drawn game, Hanuma Vihari, ruled out of the fourth and final match with a hamstring tear. Meanwhile, Left-handed all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja has also been ruled out of the fourth and final Test of the Border-Gavaskar Trophy with a dislocated thumb, the Indian cricket board announced late on Monday.

"Jadeja suffered a blow to his left thumb while batting on Day 3 of the third Border-Gavaskar Test that concluded on Monday [in Sydney]. He later went for scans and the results have shown that he has dislocated his thumb," said a statement from the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI).

This is not good news from the Indian squad, which had already suffered a number of injuries and are practically fielding their second-rung team against the Aussies.
