Mumbai: The Chennai Super Kings will take on Rajasthan Royals in 12th game of IPL 2021 at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai on Monday.

Both Rajasthan Royals (RR) and Chennai Super Kings (CSK) have won one game and lost one so far in the IPL 2021. Talking about the net run rate, CSK (0.616) is ahead of RR (0.52) on the points table.

Prominently, both teams are coming of a win in their previous match. While CSK were scientific in their dismissal of Punjab Kings (PBKS), winning with plenty of overs to spare, Rajasthan Royals faced glitches before the league's most expensive player ever, Chris Morris saw them through a tough phase against Delhi Capitals (DC).

Rajasthan Royals won against Delhi Capitals in a low scoring encounter. David Miller and Chris Morris put up a good show with the but the club will look for openers Jos Buttler and Manan Vohra to impress while skipper Sanju Samson will lead from front like their first match. Riyan Parag and Rahul Tewatia can do the needful role of finishers and David Miller will be keep the score board running in middle order. Bowlers such as Chetan Sakariya, Mustafizur Rahman and Chris Morris performed well against Delhi and once again they will have to step up.

RR will have to bat well seeing that their bowling is a bit feeble due to the absence of Jofra Archer and Ben Stokes. Both the English players are injured and a responsibility will mount on Chris Morris's all-round performance.

On the other side, Chennai Super Kings managed a win against Punjab Kings in their last match, courtesy Deepak Chahar. The right-arm pacer put up a good show of seam swing bowling and he will lead the attack once again. Chahar who had rocked the PBKS top order got accolades from even the Indian team coach Ravi Shastri who tweeted his appreciation.

The likes of Dwayne Bravo, Moeen Ali and Sam Curran are there in the bowling department. In batting Moeen Ali is doing well at number 3, Raina has played one good knocks and the likes of Faf du Plessis, Ambati Rayudu too are good. Skipper MS Dhoni, Ravindra Jadeja and Sam Curran can play the role of finishers.
