Chennai: SunRisers Hyderabad (SRH) will battle Virat Kohli’s Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) in match six of the IPL 2021 at the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai on Wednesday.

It will be interesting to see how RCB’s AB de Villiers and Glenn Maxwell deal with SRH’s spin wizard Rashid Khan on Wednesday. The SunRisers are above than the Royal Challengers having won 10 of the 18 contests while losing 7.

SunRisers Hyderabad began their IPL 2021 season with a 10-run defeat against Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR). They have to find out a way how to manage their first win of this season. It will be interesting to see on Wednesday whether SRH continue with Afghan star Mohammad Nabi or bring back New Zealand skipper Kane Williamson.

In the first match, Jonny Bairstow and Manish Pandey both scored half-centuries in the ineffective 188 runs chasing as most of the other batsmen failed to impress. SRH have used an exciting method this time. Till last season, they found success huge success courtesy to captain David Warner and Bairstow's opening pair. In the previous game, they brought in Wriddhiman Saha, who had played some brilliant knocks towards the end of the previous season. On the other side, SRH will be little concerned about their pacers. Both Bhuvneshwar Kumar and Sandeep Sharma went for too many runs against KKR. Though, they have spin wizard Rashid Khan on their side, other bowlers need to step up.

Talking about RCB, Devdutt Padikkal will probably return to the top of the order for the side. He was rested from the last game following his recovery from COVID and in his absence, RCB opened with skipper Virat Kohli and Washington Sundar. RCB's hard-hitting middle order comprising Maxwell and de Villiers will also look to score big.

RCB's spin department has been the weak link, unlike SRH Yuzvendra Chahal, is having a poor run of form. Daniel Christian, Kyle Jamieson, Harshal Patel, Mohammad Siraj will lead the pace attack.

PROBABLE XI

SRH: David Warner (C), Wriddhiman Saha (WK), Manish Pandey, Jonny Bairstow, Jason Holder/Mohammad Nabi, Vijay Shankar, Abdul Samad, Rashid Khan, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Shahbaz Nadeem/Sandeep Sharma, T Natarajan

RCB: Virat Kohli (C), Devdutt Padikkal, Rajat Patidar, Glenn Maxwell, AB de Villiers (WK), Washington Sundar, Daniel Christian, Kyle Jamieson, Harshal Patel, Mohammad Siraj, Yuzvendra Chahal
