The Indian Supercross Racing League Season 2 roared to life with an opening round at the Shree Shiv Chhatrapati Sports Complex in Balewadi, Pune. Drawing thousands of spectators, the event saw riders from 21 nations compete under floodlights on a demanding circuit. Home team BB Racing emerged as the overall winner of the opening round, seizing an early lead in the team standings and setting a competitive tone for the rest of the championship.

The opening night featured battles across multiple categories. In the premier 450cc International Class, Matt Moss from Australia, representing BigRock Motorsports, powered his Kawasaki to victory. The 250cc International Class saw a great performance from BB Racing's own Hunter Schlosser, hailing from the USA, who topped the podium on a Honda, contributing essential points to his team’s success.

The 250cc India-Asia Mix Class added to the night, with Thailand’s Ben Hallgren of Gujarat Trailblazers taking the checkered flag on a KTM after a closely fought contest. The event had the league's global appeal, featuring riders from countries including France, South Africa, and the United States, alongside prominent Indian talent like Rugved Barguje, Ikshan Shanbhag, and Prajwal Vishwanath.

ISRL Co-founder Veer Patel noted, "The incredible response in Pune once again reaffirms India's love for racing. The level of competition, the fan energy, and the scale of this event show that motorsport in India is evolving fast." Co-founder Eeshan Lokhande added, "India is no longer a spectator in global motorsports; rather, it's becoming a serious competitor."

The championship will now head to Hyderabad for Round 2 on December 6–7, followed by the season finale in Kozhikode, Kerala, on December 20–21. Fans worldwide can follow the action live on Eurosport India, the ISRL's YouTube Channel, and via digital streaming partner FanCode.
