Naomi Osaka wins Australia Open 2021, beats Jennifer Brady 6-4, 6-3

This is Osaka’s second Australian Open title. Previously, she had won it in 2019. She also has two US Open titles to her name.

Japanese tennis player Naomi Osaka won Australian Open 2021 and registered her fourth Grand Slam title after beating America’s Jennifer Brady in straight sets 6-4, 6-3 in the final of the Australian Open on Saturday.

After triumphing the likes of Serena Williams in the semi-final, she won the finals with ease. The 23-year-old was in no mood to slow down after the first set, winning the second set without breaking into a sweat.

With this win, Osaka has also improved her ranking and she is now the world number two women's singles player.
