The Patna Pirates delivered a stunning performance to defeat table toppers Puneri Paltan with a final score of 48-37. The Pirates’ victory was a collective effort, but it was primarily a one-man show from young raider Ayan Lohchab, who finished the night with an impressive 21 points. His performance began with a decisive Super Raid that led to a swift all-out on the Paltan in the first half. Lohchab's dominance continued throughout the game as he completed his Super 10 and inflicted two more all-outs, setting his team up with a massive lead.

The Pirates' win was a sweet revenge for them, as they handed the Paltan their first loss of the season. Despite a late fightback from Puneri Paltan, the lead was too big to overcome. Lohchab's successful raids, combined with strong support from his teammates like Milan Dahiya and Ankit, ensured that the Pirates were in control from start to finish. The win is a much-needed confidence boost for the three-time champions.

In the second match, the Bengaluru Bulls secured a vital 40-33 victory over the Haryana Steelers. The Bulls started strong, inflicting the quickest all-out of the season in just 4 minutes and 20 seconds. The win was fueled by the excellent performance of Alireza Mirzaian, who scored his second consecutive Super 10, and a solid defensive effort from captain Yogesh and Deepak Sankar.

Despite the Steelers' attempts to come back, led by raider Mayank Saini, the Bulls maintained their control. Mirzaian proved to be a constant threat, and his decisive raids led to a second all-out for his team, extending their lead to 29-22. The Bulls' defense, anchored by Yogesh, who also secured a High Five, ensured that they held on to their lead despite late pressure from the Steelers. This victory marks a crucial win for the Bulls and moves them up in the league standings.
